We are Kelowna’s leading destination for dance education and community connection. Formerly known as Reflections Dance Studio, The Village is home to a passionate team of internationally trained and highly qualified instructors who make dance fun and inspiring for everybody.

Proudly voted Gold in Best of Kelowna for three consecutive years, The Village continues to set the standard for excellence in both training and community spirit.

We offer classes in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Acro, and Pre-Dance for dancers ages 18 months to adult — from absolute beginners to elite pre-professionals.

Tier 1 – Learn to Dance
Short-term programs for beginners to discover the joy of dance.-
12-Week Programs: Parent & Tot, Jazz/Ballet, and Hip Hop

6-Week Adult Sessions: Contemporary, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and Hip Hop

Tier 2 – Performance (Recreational)
A full-year program focused on skill-building, creativity, and stage performance. Dancers perform in our Year-End Showcase.

Tier 3 – Pre-Competitive
For dancers ready to take the next step. Includes one competition and our Year-End Showcase.
Pre-requisites and teacher recommendation required.

Tier 4 – Elite Company
For advanced dancers committed to training and performing at the highest level. Audition and travel required.
OUR FACILITY
Our state-of-the-art facility spans over 12,000 square feet and features seven beautiful dance studios, a fully equipped gym, a welcoming smoothie bar, a cozy student lounge, dressing rooms, and more.

Every detail of our studio is designed to support growth — from our sprung floors and sound systems to our community-focused spaces that bring dancers and families together.
OUR COMMUNITY
Being involved in and giving back to our community is at the heart of everything we do. After all, it takes a village to achieve great things — which is why you’ll often see us dancing around town at parades, fundraisers, and even formal black-tie galas.
We are proud sponsors of the annual Parade with a Purpose, organized by the Doty and Turgeon families in support of The Bridge Youth & Family Services. Each year, we also host fundraisers for Foundry Kelowna in support of the Canadian Mental Health Association.
At The Village, we love being part of community events and are always happy to get involved. Giving back and spreading joy through dance is simply part of who we are.
This is my daughter’s third year at The Village Dance Academy, and we couldn’t be happier! She absolutely loves going to dance each week—it’s truly the highlight of her schedule. Over the years, she’s built strong friendships with her classmates and has grown so much, not only as a dancer but in confidence and teamwork.
The teachers and staff are incredibly supportive, kind, and passionate about what they do. They create such a positive and welcoming environment for the dancers. We’re so grateful to be part of the Village Dance Academy family!

What a phenomenal studio ! My daughter has been dancing here since she was 3 years old - she is now 13. We left for a couple years in the early days to join friends but sure happy we returned. Best decision hands down ! The calibre of the teachers and their choreography is next level. The best in all of Kelowna in my opinion.
I’ve had many family and friends attend our shows and competitions and they often compare it to watching Broadway shows. They can’t believe the elite quality of all the dancers. We are very happy with everything and everyone at the Village. My daughter is extremely happy here and well supported in her dance goals. Kudos to Sam the owner for creating such an inclusive studio!

Our family’s experience at The Village spans over 14 years, first with Reflections and now with The Village Dance Academy.
